Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures
- Develop error correction protocols for 1000+ qubit systems
- Lead quantum algorithm optimization for practical industry applications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on quantum-hybrid computing models
- Research emerging quantum technologies and integration frameworks
- Document architectural blueprints and performance benchmarks
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in advanced quantum principles
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and QIS frameworks
- Proven experience with quantum error correction algorithms
- Strong background in quantum machine learning applications
- Familiarity with superconducting and photonic quantum systems
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms
