Our Austin campus features state-of-the-art cryogenic labs and immersive VR collaboration spaces, where we're building the quantum infrastructure that will power the next decade of innovation. This hybrid role offers 3 days/week in our flagship facility with unlimited remote flexibility for deep work sessions.
Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum processor architectures using superconducting qubits and photonic systems
- Develop quantum error correction codes achieving >99.9% fidelity for commercial applications
- Create hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for pharmaceutical discovery
- Lead cross-disciplinary teams of physicists, engineers, and AI specialists
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Prototype quantum algorithms for optimization problems in logistics and finance
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature Physics and IEEE journals
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of quantum computing experience
- Published research in top-tier journals demonstrating quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with Q#, Qiskit, or Cirq for quantum circuit design
- Experience with cryogenic systems and microwave engineering at milli-Kelvin temperatures
- Proven track record of leading quantum hardware development projects
- Deep understanding of quantum machine learning applications
- Patents in quantum computing or related fields preferred
