Responsibilities
- Design fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for enterprise applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead integration of quantum processors with classical cloud infrastructure
- Collaborate with physicists to validate quantum error correction protocols
- Create technical documentation and architecture blueprints for stakeholders
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum programming best practices
- Stay current with emerging quantum hardware advancements
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Strong background in distributed systems and cloud architecture
- Published research in quantum computing or equivalent industry impact
- Experience leading cross-functional technical teams
- Understanding of NISQ-era hardware limitations and solutions
