Responsibilities
- Design and optimize quantum algorithms for commercial applications in finance, logistics, and pharmaceuticals
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing systems with 99.9% fault tolerance
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers in quantum system integration
- Develop quantum error correction protocols for large-scale qubit arrays
- Research and implement quantum machine learning frameworks for predictive analytics
- Collaborate with hardware teams to define qubit specifications and quantum gate architectures
- Drive quantum security protocols for post-quantum cryptographic systems
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Proven track record of developing quantum algorithms for NISQ-era devices
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Strong background in machine learning and high-performance computing
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals or conferences
