Responsibilities
- Architect scalable quantum computing systems for commercial deployment by 2026
- Design error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for enterprise applications
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
- Secure $10M+ in quantum research grants with NIH and DARPA
- Present breakthroughs at IEEE Quantum Week and World Economic Forum
- Mentor PhD candidates through our Quantum Innovation Fellowship
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years building quantum computing systems with 20+ qubit coherence
- Published research in Nature/Science on quantum algorithms
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum SDKs
- Proven track record of securing federal research grants
- Patent portfolio with 3+ quantum computing patents
- Experience with cryogenic engineering and superconducting circuits
- Fluency in Python/C++ with low-level optimization skills
