Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures utilizing superconducting and photonic qubit systems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead integration of quantum processors with classical HPC infrastructure
- Collaborate with research teams to solve complex problems in cryptography and molecular modeling
- Create technical documentation and patent novel quantum circuit designs
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum error correction protocols
- Stay current on breakthroughs in quantum decoherence mitigation and topological computing
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum circuit design and quantum algorithm development
- Proficiency with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction codes and fault tolerance
- Strong background in high-performance computing architectures
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems and photonic networks
- Track record of leading cross-functional technical teams
