Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures using Qiskit and Cirq frameworks
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization problems in logistics and drug discovery
- Lead quantum error mitigation strategies for industrial-scale quantum processors
- Collaborate with hardware teams to co-design quantum control systems and cryogenic interfaces
- Create quantum security protocols for next-gen cryptographic infrastructure
- Mentor junior quantum engineers in advanced quantum circuit design principles
- Publish research in Nature Quantum Information and top-tier conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of quantum algorithm development with demonstrated publications
- Expertise in quantum error correction codes (surface, color codes)
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages: Q#, Qiskit, or Cirq
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, or IonQ)
- Strong background in topological quantum computing models
