Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum processor architectures with 1000+ qubit capabilities
- Develop error correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead integration of quantum-classical hybrid computing frameworks
- Architect quantum communication networks with zero-knowledge security
- Optimize quantum algorithms for pharmaceutical and materials science applications
- Establish quantum computing standards for industry adoption
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists and software engineers
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years designing quantum computing architectures or high-performance systems
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault tolerance protocols
- Proficiency with quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Deep understanding of superconducting qubit technology or topological quantum computing
- Published research in peer-reviewed quantum computing journals
- Experience with quantum machine learning algorithms
- Strong background in cryogenic system engineering
