Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures for 2026-scale applications
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical algorithms for optimization and simulation challenges
- Lead quantum hardware-software integration projects with top-tier engineering teams
- Research and prototype quantum applications in cryptography, materials science, and AI
- Collaborate with academic institutions to publish breakthrough research in quantum computing
- Mentor junior scientists and drive innovation through quarterly hackathons
- Represent the company at global quantum technology summits and conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq) and quantum circuit design
- Proven track record of publishing in top-tier quantum computing journals or conferences
- Strong background in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant systems
- Experience with quantum hardware platforms (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex quantum concepts into practical business solutions
- Exceptional problem-solving skills for NP-hard problems using quantum approaches
- Preferred: Background in quantum machine learning or quantum cryptography
