Responsibilities
- Design scalable quantum computing architectures optimized for error correction and qubit stability
- Lead cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and software developers in quantum system integration
- Develop roadmaps for quantum supremacy applications in pharmaceutical development and climate modeling
- Establish security protocols for quantum-resistant cryptography systems
- Collaborate with academic institutions to publish cutting-edge research in Nature and Science journals
- Secure $10M+ in federal and private funding for quantum initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Engineering, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum error correction algorithms and fault-tolerant systems
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Experience with quantum programming languages (Q#, Quil, or Qiskit)
- Strong background in cryogenic engineering and superconducting qubit manipulation
