Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization, cryptography, and machine learning applications
- Collaborate with quantum hardware teams to optimize algorithm performance on next-gen processors
- Develop quantum error correction protocols to enhance algorithm reliability
- Lead research initiatives to explore quantum advantage in real-world use cases
- Publish findings in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and foster cross-functional innovation
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of hands-on quantum algorithm development experience
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#) and high-performance computing
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability theory, and computational complexity
- Publication record in quantum computing or related fields
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical implementations
- Experience with quantum hardware integration (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, etc.)
