Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for real-world applications
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-AI hybrid systems
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at international conferences
- Optimize quantum circuitry for AI workloads using Qiskit and Cirq
- Collaborate with hardware teams to develop quantum-resistant AI architectures
- Secure patents for novel quantum-AI methodologies
- Mentor junior researchers and contribute to open-source quantum-AI initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Expertise in quantum algorithms (QAOA, VQE, QML) and frameworks
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and quantum SDKs
- Published research in Nature/Science or equivalent tier journals
- Experience with NISQ-era hardware constraints and error mitigation
- Demonstrated ability to translate theoretical concepts into practical applications
- Strong background in linear algebra, probability, and information theory
- Preferred: Experience with quantum-neural network hybrids
