Responsibilities
- Develop novel quantum machine learning models for optimization and predictive analytics
- Architect hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks
- Lead experimental validation of quantum AI protocols on D-Wave and IBM systems
- Collaborate with physicists to design quantum-resistant cryptographic systems
- Publish research in top-tier journals and present at IEEE/ACM conferences
- Mentor junior researchers in quantum algorithm development
- Secure federal and private research grants for quantum AI initiatives
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or Physics (or equivalent experience)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane)
- Proven track record publishing in Nature/Science or arXiv:quant-ph
- Strong Python/C++ skills with HPC optimization experience
- Familiarity with NISQ-era hardware constraints and error mitigation
- Experience with PyTorch/TensorFlow for hybrid quantum-classical models
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
