Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for complex problem-solving
- Lead cross-functional R&D teams to prototype quantum-AI hybrid systems
- Develop novel error-correction techniques for quantum neural networks
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from NSF, DARPA, and private foundations
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals and top-tier conferences
- Architect quantum computing infrastructure supporting real-time AI inference
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers and lead quantum-AI workshops
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or Computational Physics from Tier-1 institution
- 3+ years industry experience with quantum programming (Qiskit, Cirq)
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum information theory
- Expertise in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and quantum circuit optimization
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proven track record of securing government research grants
