Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for 2026-era computational challenges
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing fault-tolerant quantum processors
- Pioneer novel AI architectures leveraging quantum supremacy principles
- Secure $5M+ in research grants from NSF and DARPA initiatives
- Publish breakthrough research in Nature/Science journals
- Mentor postdoctoral researchers in quantum-AI integration
- Collaborate with Fortune 500 partners on real-world quantum applications
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, AI, or related field with 3+ years industry experience
- Proven track record publishing in top-tier quantum/AI conferences (QIP, NeurIPS)
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency with Qiskit, Cirq, and TensorFlow Quantum frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to secure government research funding
- Strong background in tensor networks and quantum neural networks
- Experience leading distributed quantum computing teams
- Patent portfolio in quantum machine learning preferred
