Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum-AI hybrid algorithms for 2026-scale computational challenges
- Lead cross-functional teams of quantum physicists, ML engineers, and domain experts
- Develop patent-pending quantum encryption protocols for post-2026 security standards
- Drive open-source contributions to quantum-AI frameworks
- Present breakthrough findings at premier conferences (Q2H, ICML, etc.)
- Secure $5M+ in research grants for 2026-focused initiatives
- Mentor PhD candidates in quantum-AI convergence domains
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Machine Learning, or related field (or equivalent research impact)
- 5+ years in quantum algorithm development with 3+ publications in Nature/Science
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and TensorFlow Quantum frameworks
- Demonstrated success in securing government/private research funding
- Experience with AWS Braket/IBM Quantum cloud platforms
- Strong background in graph neural networks and variational quantum circuits
