Responsibilities
- Architect quantum-AI frameworks for next-gen computational systems
- Lead research in quantum machine learning algorithms and error correction
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum chip-AI interfaces
- Develop ethical frameworks for quantum AI deployment in regulated industries
- Secure $5M+ in federal and private research funding
- Mentor PhD researchers and publish in Nature/Science journals
- Partner with Fortune 500 companies for real-world implementation
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Theoretical Physics, or AI with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in quantum machine learning or topological quantum computing
- Expertise in Python, Qiskit, and quantum circuit optimization
- Proven track record of securing government research grants
- Deep understanding of quantum decoherence and error correction protocols
- Experience leading cross-disciplinary teams of 10+ researchers
- Clearance for DoD/NASA collaborative projects preferred
