Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum neural network algorithms for optimization problems
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing error-corrected quantum processors
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical ML frameworks for real-world applications
- Secure $5M+ in NSF and DoD research grants annually
- Publish 3+ top-tier papers in Nature/Science journals per year
- Architect cloud-based quantum computing platforms for enterprise clients
- Mentor PhD researchers in quantum algorithm development
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years research experience
- Expertise in quantum error correction and fault-tolerant architectures
- Published work in quantum machine learning or quantum optimization
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, and quantum circuit simulation tools
- Strong track record of securing government or corporate research funding
- Experience mentoring postdoctoral researchers and PhD candidates
- Deep understanding of tensor networks and quantum variational algorithms
