Responsibilities
- Design and implement hybrid quantum-classical AI frameworks for predictive analytics
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing error-corrected quantum neural networks
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum algorithms on real devices
- Drive research initiatives in quantum machine learning and cryptography
- Secure $5M+ in government/private research grants
- Mentor PhD researchers and publish 3+ high-impact papers annually
- Develop ethical frameworks for quantum AI deployment
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science with 5+ years industry experience
- Proven expertise in quantum algorithm design and quantum error correction
- Strong publication record in Nature/Science/IEEE journals
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Qiskit, Cirq, Q#)
- Demonstrated success in securing research funding
- Experience with large-scale AI model training and optimization
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, trapped ions)
- Leadership experience managing research teams of 10+ scientists
