Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for optimization problems
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks using Qiskit and Cirq
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize quantum circuit performance
- Research novel error-correction techniques for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Lead cross-functional projects with AI and quantum physics specialists
- Publish findings in IEEE Quantum and Nature Machine Intelligence

Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS with 5+ years experience)
- Proficiency in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Expertise in machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch)
- Published research in quantum algorithms or quantum machine learning
- Experience with quantum hardware (IBM Quantum, Rigetti, IonQ)
- Strong mathematical foundations in linear algebra and quantum mechanics
- Proven ability to translate complex theory into practical implementations
