Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum machine learning algorithms for optimization and pattern recognition
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for real-world applications
- Conduct experimental research on quantum neural networks and variational quantum circuits
- Collaborate with physicists to optimize quantum hardware performance for AI workloads
- Lead open-source contributions to quantum AI libraries like Qiskit Machine Learning
- Translate theoretical quantum computing concepts into deployable enterprise solutions
- Mentor junior researchers and publish findings in top-tier journals/conferences
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proficiency in quantum programming frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, PennyLane)
- Strong foundation in machine learning frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, JAX)
- Research experience in quantum algorithms or quantum machine learning
- Deep understanding of quantum mechanics and linear algebra principles
- Publication record in quantum computing or AI conferences/journals
- Ability to work in cross-functional teams of physicists, engineers, and data scientists
