Job Description
We are not just building software for tomorrow; we are architecting the operating system for the post-silicon era. Aether Horizon Systems is seeking a visionary Quantum AI Interface Architect to lead the development of intuitive human-computer interfaces for next-generation quantum processors.
In this pivotal role, you will bridge the gap between complex quantum mechanics and user experience. You will define how humans interact with qubits, creating visualizations and control systems that make the invisible tangible. If you are passionate about the future of computing and want to define the standards for 2026 and beyond, we want to meet you.
Why Join Us?
- Work on cutting-edge technology that will define the next decade of computing.
- Competitive salary and equity package.
- Flexible remote-first culture with hubs in Austin and San Francisco.
- Opportunity to shape the future of AI and Quantum Physics integration.
Responsibilities
- Design & Prototype: Architect and build high-fidelity visual interfaces for quantum state superposition and manipulation using WebGL and React.
- Quantum-Neural Bridging: Develop middleware that translates classical neural network outputs into quantum gate operations and vice versa.
- User Research: Conduct user testing to ensure complex quantum data is accessible and actionable for non-physicist engineers.
- Algorithm Optimization: Optimize rendering pipelines to handle real-time quantum state visualization (up to 10,000+ qubits).
- Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation and API specs for the quantum SDK.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with physicists and hardware engineers to ensure software requirements align with physical quantum hardware capabilities.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Physics, Computational Neuroscience, or a related field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design or frontend engineering with a focus on complex data visualization.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, C++, and JavaScript (React/Vue). Experience with quantum computing libraries such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PyQuil is highly desirable.
- Mathematical Proficiency: Strong understanding of linear algebra, probability, and quantum mechanics principles.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
- Innovation: A demonstrated track record of thinking outside the box and pioneering new technical approaches.
