Responsibilities
- Design and implement fault-tolerant quantum computing architectures with AI co-processors
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical ML pipelines for predictive analytics
- Optimize quantum algorithms for real-world commercial applications
- Lead cross-functional R&D projects in quantum cryptography and simulation
- Document quantum system performance metrics and security protocols
- Mentor junior engineers in quantum computing best practices
- Collaborate with hardware teams on qubit stability improvements
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Computing, Physics, or Computer Science (MS + 5 years experience accepted)
- Expertise in quantum programming languages (Q#, Qiskit, Cirq)
- Proficiency in AI/ML frameworks (TensorFlow Quantum, PennyLane)
- Experience with quantum error correction and decoherence mitigation
- Published research in quantum machine learning or quantum algorithms
- Strong background in distributed systems and high-performance computing
- Deep understanding of quantum hardware architectures (superconducting, photonic)
- Security clearance eligibility preferred
