Responsibilities
- Architect Post-Quantum Solutions: Design and implement lattice-based cryptographic algorithms to protect sensitive data against future quantum attacks.
- Legacy Migration: Lead the transition of legacy encryption standards to quantum-resistant protocols within our core infrastructure.
- Security Audits: Conduct rigorous penetration testing and vulnerability assessments specifically targeting quantum decryption methods.
- R&D Collaboration: Partner with our physics team to explore and integrate emerging quantum computing technologies into our security stack.
- Compliance Strategy: Develop roadmaps to ensure Aether Dynamics remains compliant with evolving global standards (NIST, ISO) for quantum security.
- Team Mentorship: Train junior engineers on the principles of quantum-resistant cryptography and secure coding practices.
Qualifications
- Education: Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics with a focus on Cryptography.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong emphasis on cryptography and information security.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, C++, or Rust; deep knowledge of algorithms (AES, RSA, ECC) and their post-quantum alternatives.
- Quantum Knowledge: Familiarity with quantum computing concepts, qubits, and quantum gates is highly preferred.
- Problem Solving: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex cryptographic vulnerabilities.
- Communication: Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and leadership.
