Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees semi-monthly using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (CA, NY, TX)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and 401(k) contributions with precision
- Conduct payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies quarterly
- Support year-end tax filings (W-2s, 1099s) and respond to employee inquiries
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
- Implement payroll process improvements using automation tools
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state compliance
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent expertise
- Strong knowledge of FLSA, CA labor laws, and tax regulations
- Proficient in Excel and payroll reporting tools
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Experience with garnishment administration and 401(k) administration
- Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive data
