Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal/state tax regulations (Form 941, W-2, unemployment filings)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefit enrollments through HRIS systems
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies with finance team
- Prepare quarterly/annual payroll reports for executive leadership
- Train on and maintain FLSA, FMLA, and ACA compliance protocols
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Accounting/Business or equivalent experience
- Strong proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive employee data
- Detail-oriented with 0% error tolerance for payroll accuracy
- Willingness to obtain CPP certification within 12 months
- Basic understanding of labor laws and payroll regulations
