Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations (CA, OR, WA)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings with 100% accuracy
- Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies within 48 hours
- Collaborate with HR on new hire onboarding and terminations
- Generate payroll reports for executive leadership and external auditors
- Implement process improvements to reduce payroll errors by 15%
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent proficiency
- Expert knowledge of CA labor laws and tax regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and PivotTable experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Proven track record of 99.5% payroll accuracy
- Experience with garnishment processing and wage attachment orders
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
