Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll using ADP Workforce Now for hourly/salaried employees
- Manage garnishments, tax filings, and year-end reconciliation (W-2/1099)
- Administer benefits enrollment and deductions (401k, health insurance)
- Collaborate with HR on timekeeping system integration and audits
- Develop payroll reports for leadership and external auditors
- Stay current on federal/state labor laws (FLSA, CA labor codes)
Qualifications
- 3+ years payroll processing experience with multi-state compliance
- Advanced proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or equivalent certification preferred
- Expert knowledge of federal/state tax regulations and garnishment laws
- Strong Excel skills with VLOOKUP/Pivot Table capabilities
- Proven problem-solving skills with payroll discrepancies
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
