Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage tax filings, garnishments, and compliance across CA state regulations
- Resolve payroll discrepancies through audits and employee support
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding/offboarding payroll processes
- Generate payroll reports for executive leadership and finance teams
- Implement system upgrades and process improvements
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee data
Qualifications
- 3+ years payroll processing experience with ADP systems
- CPA or CPP certification strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and QuickBooks
- Deep knowledge of CA labor laws and multi-state payroll rules
- Exceptional problem-solving and attention to detail
- Proven experience with audit preparation and compliance
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder interactions
