Responsibilities
- Process weekly and bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees across multiple states
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations (FLSA, FICA, etc.)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings accurately and timely
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies with precision
- Generate payroll reports and analytics for leadership review
- Collaborate with HR and accounting teams on payroll-related matters
- Maintain strict confidentiality of sensitive employee financial data
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar payroll systems
- Deep understanding of multi-state tax laws and garnishment procedures
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and complex formulas
- Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) designation preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Proven experience with wage garnishment and tax compliance
- Ability to thrive in deadline-driven environments
