Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for multi-state employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations (FLSA, FICA, IL withholding)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings accurately
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Collaborate with HR on new hires, terminations, and benefit changes
- Generate payroll reports for leadership and auditors
- Support year-end tax processes and W-2 distribution
Qualifications
- 3+ years of multi-state payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification strongly preferred
- Expertise in payroll compliance (FLSA, ERISA, state laws)
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and HRIS systems
- BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CPP certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle confidential data with discretion
