Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees including salary, hourly, and commission calculations
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax withholdings with 100% accuracy
- Administer time-off requests, PTO accruals, and leave-of-absence tracking
- Generate payroll reports for leadership and external auditors
- Resolve payroll discrepancies and employee inquiries within 24 hours
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Collaborate with HR and finance departments on payroll-related initiatives
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now or Ceridian Dayforce proficiency required
- Expert knowledge of FLSA, CO state labor laws, and IRS regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Experience with multi-state payroll processing
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality in sensitive financial matters
