Responsibilities
- Process and distribute bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees with 100% accuracy
- Manage tax filings, garnishments, and deductions in compliance with IRS/Federal regulations
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies within 24 hours
- Administer employee benefits, including 401(k) and health insurance deductions
- Implement and maintain payroll system upgrades and process improvements
- Prepare payroll reports for finance team and external auditors
- Train HR staff on payroll procedures and timekeeping systems
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state operations
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or equivalent payroll software
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Deep knowledge of FLSA, FICA, and state-specific payroll regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred
- Experience with Sarbanes-Oxley compliance protocols
