Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees using ADP and QuickBooks
- Verify time records and reconcile discrepancies with department managersMaintain compliance with federal/state tax regulations and labor laws
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries within 24 hours
- Assist in month-end closing procedures and financial reporting
- Update payroll records for new hires, terminations, and status changes
- Collaborate with HR on benefits administration and deductions
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred)
- Zero prior payroll experience required - we train from ground up!
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel essential)
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidential employee information
- Basic understanding of accounting principles a plus
- Must pass standard background check and drug screen
