Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings (federal, state, local)
- Conduct payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies with precision
- Support year-end processes including W-2 distribution and 1099 reporting
- Collaborate with HR to onboard new hires and update payroll records
- Implement process improvements to enhance payroll efficiency
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries within 24-hour SLA
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or HR-related field
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience in a corporate setting
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent payroll software expertise
- Deep knowledge of FLSA, DOL, and DC-specific payroll regulations
- Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables and VLOOKUP functions
- Proven track record of zero-error payroll processing
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
