Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 300+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (e.g., NM W-2, Form 941)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefit enrollments with 100% accuracy
- Investigate and resolve payroll discrepancies within SLA timelines
- Prepare year-end tax forms (W-2, 1099) and support audit processes
- Collaborate with HR on onboarding/offboarding payroll activities
- Optimize payroll workflows using continuous improvement methodologies
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with multi-state compliance
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent proficiency
- Deep knowledge of FLSA, DOL, and NM labor regulations
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP/Pivot Table expertise
- Proven track record of zero-error payroll cycles
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments with competing priorities
