Join our dynamic finance team as a Payroll Specialist in Richmond, VA! Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and tax filings for VA and multi-state employees
- Conduct payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies with HR and finance teams
- Respond to employee payroll inquiries within 24 hours with SLA tracking
- Implement process improvements using provided automation tools (UiPath, Power BI)
- Ensure compliance with FLSA, VA labor laws, and ACA requirements
Qualifications
- 3+ years US payroll processing experience with multi-state knowledge
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent payroll software expertise
- Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and payroll reporting tools
- Familiarity with VA-specific tax codes and unemployment reporting
- CPP or FPC certification preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail with 0% error tolerance
- Strong communication skills for employee-facing interactions
