Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (CA, EDD, IRS)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefit deductions accurately
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Generate payroll reports for finance and HR leadership
- Onboard new hires with payroll setup and tax form processing
- Collaborate with HR on benefits administration and timekeeping systems
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience in California
- Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now or similar HRIS platforms
- Deep knowledge of CA labor laws, EDD regulations, and IRS guidelines
- Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables, macros)
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
