Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (CA, OR, WA)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefit enrollments with 100% accuracy
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare quarterly/year-end tax filings (Form 941, 940, W-2)
- Respond to payroll inquiries within 24 hours and resolve discrepancies
- Collaborate with HR on timekeeping system integration and policy updates
- Generate payroll reports for executive leadership and auditors
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with ADP Workforce Now
- Proficiency in multi-state payroll compliance (CA, OR, WA preferred)
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification required
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables) and ERP system experience
- Exceptional attention to detail and zero-error processing track record
- Ability to handle sensitive employee data with confidentiality
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
