Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (NY, NJ, CT)
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and employee benefit deductions
- Prepare year-end tax forms (W-2, 1099) and support payroll audits
- Collaborate with HR on employee onboarding/offboarding payroll requirements
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience with ADP systems
- Strong knowledge of multi-state payroll regulations (NY, NJ, CT preferred)
- Proficiency in Excel with advanced formula usage
- CPP or FPC certification highly desirable
- Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and handle confidential data
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Experience with union payroll processing a plus
