Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly multi-state payroll for exempt/non-exempt employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Administer garnishments, tax withholdings, and 401(k) deductions with 100% accuracy
- Conduct payroll audits and reconcile discrepancies in time-tracking systems
- Prepare year-end tax forms (W-2, 1099) and respond to IRS/state inquiries
- Implement FLSA compliance and update payroll policies quarterly
- Train HR teams on payroll processes and system updates
- Collaborate with finance on budget forecasting and labor cost analysis
Qualifications
- 3+ years US payroll processing experience with multi-state regulations
- ADP Workforce Now certification or equivalent payroll software expertise
- Deep knowledge of FLSA, federal/state tax codes, and garnishment laws
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- Advanced Excel skills with VLOOKUP and pivot table proficiency
- Proven track record of 99.9% payroll accuracy in audits
- Strong problem-solving skills for payroll discrepancy resolution
- PHR or SHRM-CP certification a plus
