Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for 200+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Calculate and garnish deductions, bonuses, commissions, and overtime
- Ensure compliance with federal/state labor laws and FLSA requirements
- Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve employee inquiries
- Prepare quarterly tax filings and year-end W-2s
- Maintain confidential employee records and audit trails
- Collaborate with HR on new hires, terminations, and status changes
- Implement process improvements for payroll efficiency
Qualifications
- 3+ years of payroll processing experience
- ADP Workforce Now certification preferred
- Proficient in Excel with advanced formula knowledge
- Deep understanding of CA labor laws and FLSA
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) designation a plus
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle sensitive data with absolute confidentiality
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
