Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger entries and ensure all financial transactions are recorded accurately.
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements on a monthly basis.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant state tax regulations.
- Process accounts payable and receivable invoices efficiently.
- Provide financial data support for internal audits and external audits.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a public accounting or corporate finance setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) and advanced Excel skills (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of US tax laws and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Must be located in California and able to work in the US.
