Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive credit analysis of loan applications, financial statements, and collateral assessments.
- Assess borrower credit profiles and prepare detailed risk reports to support lending decisions.
- Maintain and update credit databases with accurate borrower information and repayment history.
- Collaborate with the underwriting team to ensure compliance with internal policies and banking regulations.
- Identify emerging trends in credit risk and recommend mitigation strategies to management.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly credit portfolio reviews and presentations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of professional experience in credit analysis, underwriting, or financial analysis.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
- Strong understanding of credit risk principles, banking regulations, and compliance standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time capacity.
