Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities
- Analyze loan applications and financial statements to assess borrower risk and creditworthiness.
- Develop and maintain credit scoring models and reports.
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for delinquency and credit limit adjustments.
- Prepare detailed credit analysis memos for executive review.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state banking regulations.
- Collaborate with underwriting and sales teams to facilitate loan approvals.
- Identify trends in the market and recommend strategic adjustments to credit policies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in credit analysis, risk assessment, or financial underwriting.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly advanced Excel functions.
- Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
- Understanding of financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
