- Analyze financial statements, credit reports, and market trends to assess applicant creditworthiness
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments with actionable recommendations
- Monitor existing loan portfolios for compliance and early risk detection
- Collaborate with lending teams to structure optimal credit solutions
- Ensure adherence to regulatory compliance standards and internal policies
- Utilize financial modeling tools to forecast repayment scenarios
- Document all credit analysis activities in our CRM system
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 2+ years of credit analysis or underwriting experience
- Proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, financial modeling)
- Strong understanding of financial ratios and credit risk metrics
- Familiarity with credit reporting agencies (Equifax, Experian, TransUnion)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Detail-oriented with high accuracy in financial analysis
