Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Process bi-weekend payroll for 15+ clients including tax calculations
- Reconcile bank accounts and credit card statements monthly
- Prepare financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheets) for client reviews
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and vendor communications
- Assist with quarterly tax preparations and year-end audits
- Implement process improvements for weekend workflows
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional bookkeeping experience
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Strong understanding of GAAP and tax compliance (MA)
- Proven ability to manage multiple client portfolios simultaneously
- Excellent attention to detail and error-spotting capabilities
- Weekend availability (Sat-Sun 8AM-4PM with flexibility)
- Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance required
