Responsibilities
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll and maintain accurate employee time records.
- Prepare and send invoices to clients and track outstanding payments.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Maintain and organize digital and physical financial records.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Sage) is required.
- Strong knowledge of basic accounting principles and GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Excellent attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote or hybrid environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or CPA certification is a plus.
