Job Responsibilities
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to handle the following core functions:
- Manage daily bookkeeping operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly to ensure accuracy.
- Process payroll for small to medium-sized businesses with precision.
- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements.
- Assist with year-end tax preparation and support for external audits.
- Maintain accurate and organized digital and physical filing systems.
Qualifications
To succeed in this role, we require the following:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, or FreshBooks.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple client accounts simultaneously.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree or CPA preferred.
