Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks Online
- Process accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Prepare monthly financial statements and profit/loss reports
- Assist with payroll processing and tax document preparation
- Support month-end closing processes and audits
- Implement bookkeeping best practices for client businesses
- Communicate financial insights to clients and internal stakeholders
Qualifications
- 3+ years of bookkeeping experience with small businesses
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel
- Associate's degree in Accounting or related field required
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously
- Professional communication and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with payroll processing software (e.g., Gusto)
